We don’t want cost to be an obstacle to participation, so nobody is going to be charged for submitting a song, not a penny.

But we do need to raise funds to cover the project’s overall costs, including for example the live events we organise and the work being done by people that aren’t volunteers.

We’re hoping to generate revenues through:

• Ticket sales at the live ‘battle of the bands’ events
• Crowdfunding – our crowdfunding page is under construction
• Donations from individuals and organisations

And in the interest of transparency (a theme we’re wedded to) we’ll publish full details of all monies received and all monies spent here, on this web page for all to see.

Also, as mentioned elsewhere, we’re looking for volunteers, including somebody to act as Treasurer – please step forward if volunteering is of any interest to you.
